The Delta Hotel on Lyon Street was transformed on Saturday as rsvp presented an amazing spectacle of fashion, music and commercial displays featuring various Ottawa-based entrepreneurs. Upcoming fashion designers showcased their latest innovations with dozens of models strutting their stuff on the runway. Singer Nacita kapi captivated the audience with soulful renditions of modern ballads and jazz/blues combos. MC Sarah Onyango kept the show going with her lively chat in English and French. A silent auction raised over $400 for Nelson House, an Ottawa shelter for abused women. Black Ottawa Scene was one of the proud sponsors of this event.
