All roads seemed to lead to 40 Collonade Road in Ottawa’s west end, as the Cultural Arts Studio School Of Afro-Caribbean Dance  celebrated 24 years as an institution and one year in its present location.  With thumping music by y DJ Kane & DJ Big Brother in the background, guests were treated to an evening of fun, food and dance, under the tutelage if iconic dance innovator Suzan Lavertu.   Events included  Yoga demo, salsa, African drumming, fitness workouts, face painting and mango eating competition. Vendors promoting exotic African and Caribbean designer clothes, shoes and other designer goods added to the exciting program.
