Ottawa was at its weather best-behavior as the Alliance des Burundais du Canada hosted its annual summer picnic at the Stratcona Park on Range Road. Over a hundred people from the Burundi diaspora community were there with their friends from Ottawa’s diverse communities, to share the delicious food, music (traditional and contemporary) and comradeship. Black Ottawa Scene was there to bring you photographs from this fun-filled event.
