Over a hundred staff, clients, friends and families of Conseil Économique et Social d’Ottawa Carleton (CÉSOC) were at the former Rideau High School auditorium on St. Laurent Boulevard, on Saturday to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Ottawa’s francophone settlement agency. The event included included a special award to Pierre Dadjo, founding Executive Director of the agency, for outstanding service. The audience was treated to an eclectic mix of musical entertainment with: Luc Lalonde; Miguel Angel de Armas Jr.; Louis Racine et Pourquoi Pas; dance by Heritage Colombien; traditional drumming by Les Cobras du Mandingue, and headlined by renowned songstress Ferline Regis.

CÉSOC is a not-for-profit agency that provides a full range of reception and settlement services to new immigrants from francophone countries.
