Chris Fraser is a Canadian born resident of Jamaican heritage. He currently works in the federal Government for Public Works and Government Services Canada. Chris is running for the second time for the City Councillor position in Innes Ward. In 2010 he received over 11% of the popular vote against a veteran incumbent. Chris has served as a Director for the Blackburn Community Association since 2010 and was the Vice-President last year. He was also the first President of the Blackburn Toastmasters Club in 2013-2014. In his high school days at Glebe Collegiate Chris was a champion 400 metre sprinter winning the Ottawa Valley race in his last two years of school.
