Saturday 14 October

Over a hundred indigenous and racialized youth were at the YM-YWCA on Argyle Street in a fun and festive celebration of  unity and solidarity. This unique event was co-sponsored by: Young Leaders Advisory Council; Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization; YM-YWCA; Catholic Centre for Immigrants; Refugee 613; and Tungasuvvingat Inuit.  Under the theme: “One Tribe One Nation”, participants were required to “go round the world  in eight trips”, completing their “passports”, by answering questions at each one of eight different stations, each with a unique message related to the theme.
