On Saturday, March 25, 2017, the Cultural Arts Studio School Of Afro-Caribbean Dance hosted a community open house at its neww location at 40 Colonnade Rd, in Nepean. While visitors of all ages were given a tour of the new space and a preview of the centre’s current and programs by the director, Suzan Lavertu, CHUO 89.1FM Saturday hosts entertained them with lively music and conversation. Donations were collected towards renovations, and some lucky donors won prizes generously provided by local businesses. The Cultural Arts Studio-Community Open House was sponsored by Rent In Ottawa, CHUO 89.1 and CharlesWatermarked Designs.
