A hearty congratulations to Community Champion par excellence, Denise Siele on being named one of the 2015 Forty Under 40 Recipients! This is indeed well-deserved recognition for her excellent work promoting civic participation, philanthropy, community engagement and good citizenship!  Created by the Ottawa business journal (OBJ), Forty Under 40 recognizes accomplished leaders who are under the age of 40 and also give back to their community. The awards are co-hosted by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and the Ottawa Business Journal. The 2015 awards again saw an impressive number of people engaged in the nomination process. More than 240 applications were submitted, and the judges spent a total of 100 hours in review. On June 18, 2015, the winners were celebrated at a gala at the Hilton Lac-Leamy, in Gatineau, Quebec. For this occasion, Ms Siele was joined by friends and relatives including Swami Gyankirti (her father, who came all the way from Norway), Raylene Lang-Dion (Immediate Past National Chair, Equal Voice, and Denise’s nominator), Clarisa Sherman, (Denise’s mother-in-law, who came from Charlotte, North Carolina) and Patrick Dion (Principal, Greenbridge Consulting, Current 40under40 judge and past recipient). Denise’s award was presented to her by Ian Faris, President and CEO of the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce.
