Over 200 family and friends of Ezioma Emejuaiwe Nnorom were at the Paroisse Sainte Genevieve on Canterbury Avenue to celebrate her 50th birthday. Guests came from across the globe as far away as Nigeria, England and the U.S.A. to rejoice with the renowned lawyer, church leader and women’s advocate, on this new milestone in her life journey. Central to the celebrations were: her mother Madam Emejuaiwe, who had come all the way from Nigeria; her sister Dr. Nkechi Emeronye, who resides in the USA, and daughters Erica and Olivia, all of who added a special family touch to the joyous occasion. Black Ottawa Scene was there to capture this thoroughly enjoyable evening of exotic cuisine, drinks, music, dance and relaxed comradeship in pictures.
