Saturday August 9, hundreds of revelers were at Mooney’s Bay for a day of fun, music, dance and laughter for  friends and families of Jamaican Canadians. With Papa Ritchie dishing out soul-pounding disco sounds, it was a day to remember, as one of the best celebrations of Jamaica’s independence. Kudos to JOCA President Joanne Robinson and her crew of committee members and volunteers for a well organised week of  fun for the entire community.
