Margaret Tucker, centre, receives International Lions President’s Recognition from Past Lions International Director Rod Wright at the District A4 Convention

Zone Chair Margaret Tucker from the Barrhaven Lions Club received an International Lions President’s Recognition from Past Lions International Director Rod Wright at the District A4 Convention. The Recognition is one of the top recognition awards possible in Lions International and is in acknowledgement of her impact as a New Voice in the area of Membership.

Lions Clubs International is the largest service club organization in the world. Its 1.4 million members in more than 47,000 clubs are serving communities in 207 countries and geographical areas around the globe. Since 1917, Lions clubs have aided the blind and visually impaired, championed youth initiatives and strengthened local communities through hands-on service and humanitarian projects.
