The Dovercourt Community Centre in Ottawa’s west end was filled to the rafters as dozens of fans and friends from Ottawa’s diverse communities converged there for at a “meet-and greet” hosted by MPP Yasir Naqvi and newly elected MP Catherine McKenna. Among the special guests was popular former MPP Richard Patten. Both Yassir who is the provincial Minister of Correctional Services and Community Safety and Catherine McKenna who is the newly appointed F federal Minister for the Environment, took the opportunity of this social event to thank their supporters, volunteers and constituents.
