The Nigerian community in Ottawa turned out in large numbers at a special reception at the YM-YWCA centre on Argyle Avenue, to welcome the newly accredited Nigerian High Commissioner to Canada, Ambassador Adeyinka Asekun. Under the leadership of Nigerian-Canadian Association President, John Adeyefa, the evening featured fine food, entertainment and welcome speeches from leaders of Ottawa’s Nigerian Canadian community.
