The Newcomer Information Centre on Argyle Avenue was the scene of an intimate celebration of their annual Multiculturalism Day. An audience made up mostly of staff and colleagues from other centres enjoyed an afternoon of music, dance, song and food demonstrations representing Ottawa’s diverse cultures: Syria, Iran, Jamaica, Haiti, Iraq, Morocco, Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba, Libya, Afghanistan and Tunisia.
