NCAO inaugurates new Board of Directors

Close to a hundred members of the Nigerian Canadian Association Ottawa were at the Jim Durrell Community Centre on Walkley Road to witness the swearing in of the eight newly elected members of the Board of Directors of the organisation. Presided over by Yomi Pratt, Chair of the Election Committee, the event featured a final report by outgoing President, John Adeyefa,  and the swearing in of the new Board members by Rev. Ansa Bablola. In-coming President Chuks Imiaghagbe, made an impassioned appeal to members to support the new Board and gave a summary of their plans for the upcoming year. Members of the audience also had an opportunity to ask questions  and make suggestions to the Board for consideration. The new Board consists of:

President: Chuks Imaghiagbe         

Vice President: Faith Eluwa                  

Secretary: Chinedu Mbah          

Social Secretary: Emmanuel Efe Omueti           

Public Relations Officer: Stella Kendirim         

Treasurer: Christiana Ogah                    

Sports, Recreation  & Youth Coordinator:  Watson Ogoriba             

 Financial Secretary: Eric Ogbegie
