Rev. Joseph Kiirya of the River Jordan Ministries continued his magnanimous community spirit by hosting the Tonight-for-Tanzania fund -raiser at his church on Bentley Avenue. The Tanzania Chapter of the Canadian World Education Foundation (CWEF Tanzania) was the beneficiary of this annual event that provides scholarships and support for disadvantaged children in East Africa. It was a delightful evening of  African food, music, dance and culture for the over two hundred people in the racially diverse and multicultural audience. Event hostess Petronilla Michael, with co-organizer  Anna Agnieszka, had assembled a great team of dedicated volunteers including Muhuji Mshana, Fatuma Mohamed and the East African Student Association, pulling off an amazing and successful event, and raising over $4,000 for the charitable organisation.  The High Commissioner of the Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency, Jack Mugendi Zoka was one of the distinguished guests in attendance.
