Fresh from receiving the 2018 Martin Luther King Jnr DreamKeepers award, Jaku Konbit President Ken Campbell was at it again, this time hosting the annual Ujama Job Fair at Ottawa City Hall. Over a hundred job seekers were there to connect with potential employers to discuss job prospects and hand in their resumes. Mayor Jim Watson was there to welcome the employers and visitors and youthful Jaku Konbit volunteers  were there to direct visitors and help with other important errands involved in this important community event. Among the employers with display booths were: City of Ottawa; OC Transpo; YM-YWCA; Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre;  Ottawa Police Service; University of Ottawa Security Department; Canadian Forces; Algonquin College; Money Advisors; Canadian Security & Intelligence Service; and World Financial Group.
