Peacefully at Central West Hospice, on March 15, 2017 at the age of 67 years. Pre-deceased by his parents Julius and Suzanna Aiyere and son in law of Samuel and Marian Akinsowon. Victor is survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth Aiyere and his loving children Emmanuel Aiyere (Siobhan) and Lydia Aiyere. Also survived by his 7 siblings and many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his immediate and extended family, many friends and RCCG church members. Special thanks to: Dr. Kurtz, Dr. Macrae, Dr. Reaume, Dr. Fernando, Dr. Chan, Dr. Bright, Dr. Agboola and the oncology team at the Ottawa Cancer Centre in addition to all staff members at the Central West Hospice. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 11 am, followed by burial at Hope Cemetery.
