Founded in 2013, Black Ottawa Scene is a volunteer-driven monthly online news magazine, showcasing and celebrating Canadians of African descent in the nation’s capital and beyond. Over the last nine years, we have worked hard to become a uniquely reliable source of stories of community achievement, advocacy, student mentorship, and opportunities for Ottawa’s Black community.
