On Saturday, December 13, Help Lesotho continued its 10th anniversary celebration by hosting its PossibiliTEA event at Ashbury College, in Rockcliffe Park. This multi-generational afternoon offered guests an opportunity to meet Her Majesty Queen ‘Masenate Mohato Seeiso, ‘M’e Makatleho, a grandmother from Lesotho, and Ausi Felleng, a 16-year old GIRL4ce leader. During the thought-provoking seated program hosted by CBC News Ottawa co-anchor Lucy van Oldenbarneveld, guests learned from the three Basotho speakers how citizens in Lesotho are working towards greater gender equity and overcoming various economic, social and health-related challenges.
