Black History Ottawa presents Community Builder awards from 2021 and 2022
Under normal circumstances, Black History Ottawa presents their annual Community Builder awards during the launch of Black History Month each February. However, because of the Covid pandemic lock-down, the award ceremonies could not be held in 2021 and 2022. With the lifting of the lock-down, the organization hosted a reception for the awardees from both years at ReStays Private Lounge, located on Queen Street in Ottawa’s downtown. Black Ottawa Scene brings you pics of those who were in attendance.
