The incessant heavy rain on Saturday did not deter the scores of people who defied the downpour to attend the 2024 Multiculturalism Day hosted by the African Canadian Association of Ottawa (ACAO). Led by President John Adeyefa and Executive Director Hector Addison, participants were treated to a day filled with music, food and refreshments, topped by a fiercely contested international soccer competition by teams from Ghana, Uganda (winners), Nigeria, Congo DR (runner up), Senegal (3rd place), Burundi, and Sudan. Black Ottawa Scene was there to bring you pics of the fun-filled event.
