African Day On The Hill Black History Month celebrated with pomp and pageantry
La Cite Collegiale on Aviation Parkway was abuzz with activity as hundreds of people from Ottawa’s diverse communities gathered to celebrate the 2026 African Day on the Hill Black History Month event. Hosted by the African Canadian Association of Ottawa (ACAO), it was a cultural showcase with music, story-telling, fashion showcase, delicious African cuisine and general comradeship.
