A huge congratulations to our very own director Alison Duke @therealgoldelox for receiving the King Charles III Coronation Medal—a prestigious recognition celebrating her outstanding contributions to Canada and the Toronto-Danforth community. 🏅

During the special presentation, Julie Dabrusin, Member of Parliament for Toronto-Danforth, first highlighted the incredible success of BAM BAM: The Sister Nancy Story—now streaming on Crave—before presenting Alison with this well-deserved honour.

This award recognizes Alison’s dedication to uplifting Black voices and championing impactful storytelling through OYA Media Group @oyamediagroup and OYA Black Arts Coalition @oyablackarts. Her leadership continues to pave the way for future generations in film, television, and media. Well deserved! 👏🏽
