Black Ottawa Scene celebrated its 10th anniversary of publication in October 2023. In commemoration of this pivotal milestone, the editorial team led by our awesome webmaster Elom Tsiagbey, has created a 5-minute video newsreel, chronicling our journey from the early days till now. The video premiered, with great adulation, at the launch of the 2024 Black History Month on Saturday 27 January 2024 at the National Gallery of Canada.
