Message for March, 2026: Holiness and Integrity
by Rev Daniel-Joseph Daniel
Please join me today and praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise God who is above all heavenly Hosts. Praise God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, in Jesus mighty name.
Please thank God, for what He is in us and for us. Thank Him for this day. Lord, we thank you for our lives and thank You Lord, for Your mercies and grace. Thank you for Your faithfulness and for our salvation, in Jesus mighty name. Amen
Beloved of the Lord, today, let us address the matter of holiness on personal basis as well as for the church, the body of Christ.
Holiness means to be complete and set apart for God. It relates with integrity. To be holy means to be morally pure and to be dedicated to God. Spiritual purity as a result of keeping one’s self pure and righteous. A quality God has because what He says, what He does and who He is are the same. God always does what He says. He will because He is one with Himself.
God’s presence cannot abide in anything that is not holy. In the Old Testament, anyone who entered His presence without being holy died. God warned the priest, in effect, “Do not come into my presence unless you are holy, because I am holy.
“Coming without being holy will destroy you. Those who perished in this way died because holiness and impurity cannot coexist. The pure alone will see God (Matt. 5:8). When we pray, we must have integrity.
God says, you will seek me and find me and find me when you seek me with all your heart (Jer. 29:13). We cannot just say we seek God; we must really seek Him if we want to find Him. We must determine, like Jacob, “God, I am not going to let you go until I see you”. Gen. 32: 24 -30. What does it mean to see God in relation to prayer? The Scripture says, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord (Exodus 14: 13; 2 Chronicles 20: 17). In essence, God says, “If you are holy, then I will manifest myself to you. 1 Peter 1: 15-16, “But as He which has called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, be ye holy; for I am holy.” Two cannot effectively walk together or maintain a functional long-term relationship or partnership without agreement on fundamental, core matters according to Amos 3:3. God is not asking too much from us who have vowed to follow Him, Jesus. Sin and holiness cannot go together, similarly, darkness cannot exist where light is. God wants us to come to Him and enjoy the light of His presence and countenance.
God, our Father wants to answer our prayers all the time. He wants a genuine relationship with us, but we must be holy like Him to be near him. He’s telling you, my brother, my sister today, “You will see my salvation in your life.” If you are convinced that He will do what He has promised, then you will see Him answer your prayers. In this sense, holiness is being convinced that what God says and what He does are the same. When you’re holy, what you believe, say, think and do will be unquestionably the same. Friends of Jesus, I urge you to try your best to read your Bible even for an hour per day. This month we’re studying the Book of Exodus.
Reading for today: Exodus 31-33; Matthew 22:1-22.
Pray this prayer with me:
- Powers fighting my efforts to remain holy, you’re a liar, I reject you in the name of Jesus.
- Thou Spirit of confidence and holiness, take control, in Jesus’ name Amen
I pray for you: O God hear the prayers of Your people, give them the spirit of holiness that they may have a holy relationship with you throughout this year, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
The Lord, your God shall bless your going out today and your coming in always, in Jesus’ name. thank you and remain blessed.
