Rwandan Canadian award-winning singer-songwriter, Empress Nyiringango wows fans at the Shenkman Arts Theatre

Yesterday afternoon, I had the pleasure of taking in some of the festivities marking the Shenkman Arts Centre’s 15th anniversary including a magnificent performance by the amazing Empress Nyiringango and her band! What a perfect occasion to showcase this beautiful talent….and her mother’s dancing skills!
Many thanks to the Centre for the diversity of cultural offerings and for partnering with organizations like Axé WorldFest to bring African and Latin music to this city!
