Peacefully on Sunday May 6th in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Epah Fonkeng, born in Njungo to the late Pa Augustine Fonkeng and Ma Josophine Tohzoque.
A loving husband of Juliana Fonkeng for 36 years.
He was the younger brother of Mr. Forsack Ferdinand Fonkeng.
He was a loving father who cherished all his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
May his soul rest in peace in Christ Jesus

Memorial service
Saturday 26 May
Over 200 people were at the Holy Cross Church on Walkley Road, Ottawa to pay homage to Epah Franic Fonkeng, who passed away on 6 May 2018. Epah was one of Ottawa’s leading volunteer activists, writer, broadcaster, and community advocate. Mourners came from across Canada, USA and Africa, a testimony to the esteem that the late Epah was held by all who knew him Black Ottawa Scene joins in the mourning and send our condolences to this family.
This was my senior friend, lost contact, only to learn now that he has crossed over.
He was of very rare qualities.
I have pictures we took at Ibadan in 1981..1982 to share with his direct family.
