The last 5 years of my life have been an incredible and remarkable journey. Today, I’m graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree with Specialization in Computing Science from the University of Alberta. I completed the Science Internship Program after successfully completing 6 consecutive work terms at PCL. I served the community as the Secretary, Vice-President and President of the Nigerian Students’ Association at the University of Alberta. I also served as a member of the Black Students’ Collective where I worked with other passionate students leaders to strive for equity and fairness for black students.
These achievements would not be possible without the help of the God Almighty, so I would like to give him proper credit. I would also like to use this as an opportunity to thank my family, friends, professors, and mentors who continuously helped and supported me during this difficult but yet remarkable journey.
I’m very happy to continue working full-time at PCL Construction, a very reputable construction company.
