Some of the participants at the golf tournament

The Keith Charles 2024 Annual Golf tournament hosted by Ottawa’s Black Canadian Scholarship Fund (BCSF) was a great success. Located at the Greensmere Gold & Country Club in Carp, the fund-raising event attracted a large number of members and supporters of BCSF. This annual golf tournament celebrates the life of Keith Charles, one of BCSF founding members.

About the Black Canadian Scholarship Fund – An investment in Black Canadian youth

The Black Canadian Scholarship Fund is dedicated to ensuring the intellectual and social development of our young people by enabling them to fulfil their dreams of a university education.

To this end, it organizes annual fundraising events and solicits donations from businesses, community groups and individuals. The funds raised are added to the original capital deposited by the BCSF with the Community Foundation of Ottawa, which manages the investment. The BCSF offers scholarships from the dividends generated by the investment.
