The children happily display their artistic creations

Some thirty children aged from 5 to 15 were at the Rideau Hub last Saturday to engage in a hands-on practical craft-making organized by the Omofuma Family and Friends Association in partnership with 3EES Inc. Using pre-cut paper material, the children armed with scissors and glue, created beautiful paper crafts such as hand bags, fashionable hats, bracelets and more, under the guidance direction of Aba Tsiagbey, founder of the 3EES Inc. A professional architect by training, Aba has a long track record of developing innovative practical school learning art and craft materials that enriched the learning process of children in her native Ghana. She has now brought her innovative ideas to support school aged children in Ottawa. More info at her website: http://www.eazieducation.org.
