Nigerian children showcase their culture

Over 100 people from Ottawa’s diverse communities were at the Rideau Hub on St. Laurent Blvd., as the Omofuma Family and Friends Association hosted its 2025 Christmas celebration. Attendees included adults and children of all races and cultures: Black Asian, Indigenous, Latin American, plus people with various forms of disabilities. It was an afternoon filled with entertainments, food, music and comradeship orchestrated by Anthony Omofuma, his beauitiful wife Ngozi and their children. Santa Claus was also in attendance with Mrs. Claus, with lots of presents for the little children. At the conclusion of the event, guests were offered assorted non-perishable foods to take home. All in all, a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season.
