Under the auspices of the Nigerian Canadian Association of Ottawa (NCAO), a group of protesters held a peaceful rally against the recent attacks on foreigners in several cities in South Africa, resulting in a number of deaths among the country’s immigrant population. The protesters headed to the South African High Commission on Sussex Drive where they handed over a signed petition to the diplomatic mission.
