A Retirement Garden Party in honor of the former Director General for Pan Africa relationship at Global Affair Canada Ambassador Paula Caldwell St Onge was held on 25 August 2020 by the Nigerian & Canadian Business Network (NCBN). The event was held at the home of Wale and Perihan Adesanya, under the auspices of the Dean of diplomatic Corps, Ambassador Solomon Azoh-Nbi.
The successful and very well attended event had in attendance several distinguished members of the community under the patronage of the Dean of the Diplomatic Corp, Amb. Anu’a-Gheyle Solomon Azoh-Nbi and South African High Commissioner, H.E. Ms. Sibongiseni Dlamini – Mntambo including Ambassadors / High Commissioners of the following African countries: Cameroun, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Republic of Congo, Tanzania and Nigeria(Rep by Minister, Trade, Economics & Investments, and Paula’s Global Affairs Colleagues, Ian Myles, Tarik Khan ( video message) and Yannick Lamonde (video).
Others include Ethiopian Airlines Country Manager Samson Arega, Chairman of Canada-Africa Chamber of Commerce Sebastian Spio – Garbrah,
President of AAJIMATICS Adekunle A. Ajiboye, NCBN Adversory Council members,

The guest of honor Paula who came with her husband, Daniel St Onge was commended for her unique passion and support for Africa by attendees. She thanked our Chief host and NCBN Chairman, King Wale AdeSanya, for opening up his home for the celebration and for his continued support for Africa and friendship with the Diplomatic community.
All the guests spoke in unison that Paula will be missed for her commitment towards building and fostering relationship and friendship between Africa and Canada.
Happy retirement to Paula, a genuine friend of the African Continent and a true BRIDGE BUILDER. Much Respect and love 💘.

I’m surprised that these photos are posted in 2020 while obviously not following COVID-19 guidelines. This reflects poorly on the Black community, who is already struggling to prove that they are doing their part to minimize spread. No distancing here, even around food, masks off… Really?
