Festival showcases cultures of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique

Thoroughly enjoyed my short Montréal getaway this past weekend! On Saturday, I was able to take in the invigorating and colourful Spice Island Festival in the historic Black community of Little Burgundy and reconnect with community stalwarts Gemma, Jewel and the Hon. Dr. Jean Augustine! I was also lucky enough to catch fun performances including those by Jab Jab and by two beautifully dressed Zimbabwean sistas, and of course I had my fair share of mouth-watering cuisine and ice cream! Congratulations to our Grenada massive 
on a great festival!
