Over 200 members, , families and friends were in attendance as the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Ottawa (TTAO) celebrated the 63rd anniversay of the country’s independence in style, at the St. Julian Of Norwich Anglican Church hall at Rossland Avenue, Ottawa. It was an evening of fu, comradeship, delicious food, entertaining music and more. The event also featured the announcement of post-secondary scholarships to a number of young students by the association. A highlight of the evening was the special award and recognition of iconic former TTAO President, Ingrid John-Baptist.
