“The best thing about Ottawa is our people. We are a kind, generous, caring, and compassionate city. And we are home to amazing individuals who have done incredible work in their careers and in the community. I’m very proud to honour some of Team Ottawa’s best and brightest: 15 outstanding residents who will be presented with the Order of Ottawa and one remarkable volunteer chosen as this year’s recipient of the Brian Kilrea Award for Excellence in Coaching.”
