I am thrilled to share that I have joined the Ottawa Police Service as the Coordinator for the Diversity, Resource and Relations (DRR) Unit.
This new chapter feels like a natural continuation of my journey with BWW-Ottawa, where I continue to serve as Executive Director on a volunteer basis. From building bridges within communities to now helping strengthen them between communities and institutions, the mission remains the same.
As someone who has spent over a decade working alongside newcomers, youth, and families, I have seen the power of dialogue, trust, and empathy in transforming relationships. I am honoured to bring that same spirit of collaboration and compassion into this new role.
Here is to building connections that last, one conversation, one partnership, and one act of understanding at a time, together for a stronger Ottawa.
