What a crazy 24 hours! Last night we won 2 Maple Blues Awards (Canadian Blues Music Awards), and we just found out this morning that our album “Long River” was nominated for a JUNO Award (Canadian National Music Awards)!!! Massive shout out to the amazing members of my band Kharincia Francis, Kira Francis, Kiran Francis, Dave Williamson, Ed Lister, and Kayla Francis for your fantastic work on this album. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners of the MBA’s, and to my fellow JUNO nominees.Thank you to our wonderful publicist Eric Alper for all of your hard work.And last but not least, Thank you so much to the nominating panel(s), Brian Slack and to everyone who has supported us over the years. We love you, we adore you, and we appreciate you!
