The 2019 version of Trinbago Day was held at City Hall on Laurier Avenue last Sunday. Hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Association, this popular annual social event included excellent Trinidadian cuisine, music, dance and displays from a diverse group of community associations and local businesses. Mayor Jim Watson was there to welcome the participants, as were Scarborough-Guildwood MPP, Mitzie Hunter; Nepean MP Chandra Arya; Gatineau MP Greg Fergus; Trinidad and Tobago Acting High Commissioner, Her Excellency Liana Sukhbir, and Deputy High Commissioner for India, His Excellency Arun Kumar Sahu.
