Congratulations to the West Indian Youth Association Of Ottawa on a lovely Junior Carnival Parade in Hintonburg this afternoon! It was wonderful to see children and you showcasing their beautiful costumes, playing steelpan music and just proudly repping their Caribbean culture! Many thanks to Grenada’s High Commissioner, Guyana’s acting High Commissioner and Montréal’s Gemma Raeburn-Baynes for gracing the occasion! A great time was had by all…and I loved every minute of it!
