On Sunday, November 24, at Ottawa City Hall, 3’s Company hosted Ottawa’s annual Soca/Parang Lime featuring Toronto number 1 Parang band “Los Pajaros”, as well as dancers from the Cultural Arts studio and music by David Super Sound. Several local businesses were also featured at this extremely well-attended gathering. During this highly festive activity, which was brilliantly emceed by Renford Thomas, Jr (aka DJ Bojangles), 3’s Company’s Ingrid John-Baptiste presented a cheque to Jaku Konbit as a contribution to the organization’s youth-centred programs. The Trinidadian community will continue celebrating the Holiday season on December 28 at the Trinidad & Tobago Association of Ottawa (TTAO) Holiday Season Soirée, taking place at the CHIMO hotel.
