A small select group of seniors were at the Omofuma family residence on Romulus Private to participate in the launch of the Nigerian Seniors in Ontario. Speaking at the occasion, patriarch and founder of the Omofuma Family and Friends Association, Anthony Omofuma, with his wife Ngozi, said their goal was to assist and support Nigerian seniors provincewide in all their endeavours, such as transportation, food security, health care and general well-being. Among the guests were representatives from the Ottawa Golden Oldies Black Seniors Club and Flo’s Seniors. Following the launch, the guests were treated to a sumptuous dinner followed by a merry karaoke session in which the guests and the Omofuma family merrily joined in.
