On Sunday afternoon, Black History Ottawa held it’s annual Black History Month Appreciation Night with the Ottawa Senators. The ceremonial puck drop was made by Susan Lucas and David Goodwin. Kelly Lee Evans sang the national anthems and Nina Alleyne was recognized as a “Community Champion” for her volunteer work with the Afircan Hockey Association. We also had some vendors from the community on site. And top it all, the Sens won BIG (7-1) against the Vegas Knights.
