The 2019 version of Ottawa’s JAM Day was held at the Vincent Massey Park on Heron Road. This year’s annual event was almost marred by the unforeseen thunder storm that started early in the day. However revellers were not deterred by this temporary disruption as they joined in the fray with music, food, and comradeship. Local music icons Papa Ritchie of CHUO FM and Junior Smith from CKCU’s Reggae in the Fields were there to provide the usual pulsating musical rhythms, made to whet the palate and thrill the soul.
