Rain was no deterrent to the Annual Ottawa Centre BBQ

Over 60 persons were on hand as popular Ottawa Centre MP Yasir Naqvi hosted his annual barbeque at St. Luke’s Park on Frank Street. Yasir was there in person to personally receive and greet each of the guests. Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe was there, as were many of Yasir’s constituents from his riding. Unfortunately because of the rain, the annual Ottawa Centre Cup basketball competition had to be cancelled, but many of the players were in attendance to mix and mingle with the guests and enjoy the delicious BBQ served up by volunteers.
