On Saturday, May 3, 2014, The Network of Black Business & Professional Women (Nb2PW) held its Annual Mothers’ Day Brunch at the elegant Restaurant Prime 360, in Ottawa. The intimate group of guests in attendance enjoyed a delicious continental buffet-style meal followed by a most inspiring speech by Mrs. Mercy Azoh-Mbi, a geologist, the wife of Cameroon’s ambassador to Canada, and a mother of five. An  motivational speaker, showing triumph in the face of adversity. Mrs. Azoh-Mbi moved some to tears as she recounted her near-death experience and explained how she learned to use challenges as opportunities to live with greater purpose.
