Saturday June 7, about forty men and women gathered on Merivale Road for a charity walk along the Experimental Farm to raise funds for the Black Canadian Scholarship Fund. Established in 1996, BCSF provides scholarships in the amount of $6000 each for deserving black students, who because of limited income, may not otherwise be able to to pay for college or university education.
