Fred Dyer obituary

Remembering our Dad – Frederick Dyer, affectionately known as ‘Boydie’

Getting through this Father’s Day without our Dad is going to be one of the hardest thing. Having him as a dad was the greatest gift we ever received.

Our dad was an incredible man. He provided for his family and made sure his children had the guidance they needed. His role in our lives cannot be filled by others, as his role had a large impact on us as children growing up and helped to shape us into the persons we have become.

Fred Dyer

Some of the values he instilled in us are; the value of community service and to never forget our culture, why giving and sharing with others is so important, and mostly to respect ourselves, others and to respond in kindness when others projected unkindly to us. In light of his, I can proudly say that I am a product of some of his valuable teachings.

Our dad, was loved so dearly, and brought so much happiness to the many hearts he touched. He was always kind, caring and understanding towards people. And if help was ever needed then it came so freely from him. He was a blessing and God’s gift to everyone he came across and brought so much joy to us.

Dad, even though you left us too soon, your life touched all of ours so deeply. Knowing you’re watching over us from heaven makes Father’s Day especially meaningful.

Rejoice with your family in heaven on Father’s Day as your family on earth remembers you. We remember you with joy in our hearts this Father’s Day.
