Over one hundred family and friends of AkwaCross Association were at the St. Genevieve Church hall on Canterbury Avenue, to support the organisation’s fund-raiser for upgrading schools for underprivileged children in Nigeria. The event was the highlight of the organisation’s annual convention, which drew delegates from branches across Canada. . The evening featured lots of good food, music, drinks and general comradeship. plus a delightful children’s fashion show. Special guest was Orleans Member of Provincial Parliament Marie-France Lalonde. and Cumberland City Councillor Stephen Blais. Kudos to the organisers of this enjoyable event, especially AkwaCross Association National President Engr. Patrick Obot. Co-MC’s were Mark Henry and Chukwuma Jacob.
Goodness me.may the name of the Lord be blessed.
